NATO could have Russian intelligence expert in Brussels
NATO may get an intelligence representative of Russia in its headquarters in Belgium, officials said on Thursday. This should improve cooperation against terrorism.

NATO and Russia may become closer
“We are discussing the nomination of an FSB (Federal Security Service) representative, who will be based in Brussels to liaise with NATO on counter-terrorism,” Expatica gives the words of a Russian diplomat.
The practical details will be discussed later, in particular whether the representative will be registered with NATO or with Belgium.
NATO resumed relations with Russia after a disagreement concerning situation in Georgia. Despite all the differences NATO and Russia have common interests in counter-terrorism actions.
The NATO officials and Russian experts will have a number of meetings to discuss the exchange of confidential information.
