Some Wallonian workers dissatisfied with their jobs and salaries. They show their discontent organizing mass strikes.

Last week Wallonia faced with two stoppages. The first one happened on Thursday morning when angry bus drivers walked out as part of an unofficial stoppage, wrote web site Deredactie.be. As a consequence, a quarter of all bus services from the Delta bus depot in Brussels had to be cancelled.

In the evening of the same day furious Belgian Post workers blocked the Brussels X sorting centre. All the lorries were forbidden to leave the territory of the centre. As the result, mail delivery was failed in 90 municipalities in Brussels, Flemish and Walloon Brabant. The reason of strikes – new pilot projects of the semi-public Belgian Post Office. To compete with other companies, this company must reduce budget. So, the Belgian Post Office came to a determination to recruit part-time postal workers who, of course, will be paid less, wrote Deredactie.be.
