There are a lot of Spanish associations in Belgium where people can learn “flamenco” and know the Spanish  culture.  Peña Al Andalus, in Antwerp is one of them.

Spanish population is big in Belgium. There are about 50.000  Spanish living in this country.  The most of them are flamenco-spain_151_copycatliving in Belgium for a long time. About 16.000  Spanish came to Belgium since Spain and Belgium singed and immigration treaty in 1956,  and they haven’t return to Spain.

So, the most typical Spanish dance “flamenco” is very famous now in Belgium and Spanish singers are very popular too. That’s why they’re a lot of associations where Spanish teach “Flamenco” like  Peña Al Andalus.

Peña Al Andalus has a lot of weekly dance courses at all levels from beginner to advanced, children and adults.  From Monday until Friday there are different dance classes in the evening and on Wednesday there is a special flamenco course for children conducted by  Nina Pérez.  This course begins in October and finish in June. But in summer Peña Al Andalus doesn’t closed the doors, they prepare special course.
