Ronald Janssen, industrial design teacher, a mad murderer, a serial killer or a person with serious psychological problems? The truth is that this teacher of 38 years is the confessed to three murders committed in the past two years. Janssen said the police who is the author of 10 to 15 murders for over ten years, which are being investigated by police.

In recent days the teacher has confessed his involvement in three deaths: the last two on 1 January, when he killed his neighbor, Appeltans, 18 and her boyfriend, Kevin Paulus, 20, with multiple gunshot wounds. One statement that has surprised everybody has been in the teacher claimed that he had killed his neighbor and her boyfriend just because you bothered. What could happen by the head of a family person, a good job, friends … to discuss such barbarity?

Police officers also feel that the teacher may have something to do with the murder of Van Uytsel, 18, whose body was found in 2007 in a channel inside a plastic bag, the teacher also admitted killing her.

When Van Uytsel disappeared, the professor would be forced to get on his van and threatened with a weapon. After several hours locked in the basement of his house Ronald Janssen decided to kill her. It was the Van Uytsel own colleagues who warned of a possible involvement of Janssen in the death of the girl, after seeing the teacher at a party with the student.

It also investigates possible involvement in the murders of Professor Ingrid Caeckaert (26), stabbed in 1991 in Heist-aan-Zee, and in the Carola Titze, a German girl of 16, whose body was found in 1996 in this country.

The Office of Hasselt as the Bruges has been responsible for these terrible cases of murder and have sent a message to potential victims, witnesses and friends of the murderer to come to the police and even discover how many have actually been murders committed by this serial killer.

The truth is that this issue has some peculiariedad as the life of this mass murderer was perfectly normal. He is divorced and the father of two girls 11 and 8 years. Besides the strange thing about this whole story is that the professor had never shown any violent behavior, in fact, his friends, and students regarded him as a good person and a good teacher, work played in a school of Loksbergen (in northeastern Belgium).

Another of the statements that have been most surprised, have been in the teacher claimed that he was a serial killer.The psychologists who have treated the murderer think that crimes may be the result of a compulsion, which can be traced to the psychopathological disturbances or youth and have decided it best to determine custody but controlling the teacher at home when the risk of suicide.

But the doubt is in the air. What decision should be taken with a person who has caused so much pain and caused a spectacular number of death you ever committed the crimes for which he was not well psychologically, or everything was ready?
